As a registered Canadian charity with forty volunteer drivers who are mostly retired teachers, we deliver book gifts to babies and preschoolers. If you live in Qualicum School District #69 (Bowser to Nanoose Bay and Lasqueti Island) on Vancouver Island in BC (Canada), we deliver FREE age-appropriate books from birth through four year olds. Register your baby or preschooler, now!
98 year old Qualicum Beach resident Eva Hilborn created The Wonderful World of Books because she believes that reading with children builds lifelong language skills and a love for learning. Studies have shown that children who have a home library while growing up have greater chances of success in adulthood. Eva believes that the 24 books or more that babies and preschoolers receive through her foundation will set them up to succeed in life.
Tax deductible donations can be made and are welcome! Donate through Canada Helps below, or email us to find out alternate ways to donate. We are also looking for volunteers to help with book delivery and various projects.
With all of us working together, we can accomplish great things. To volunteer or contribute to our charity, send us an email. We will get back to you soon.

Each month, 250 children living within our local school district receive a new, age appropriate book and that happens because of people and businesses like TD Bank Group who make a significant difference in the communities in which they reside.
